Calm Spaces is seeking assistant organizers in both the San Francisco Bay Area and the Metro Atlanta Area. These positions are ideal for someone who loves organizing, enjoys helping people, and is comfortable working in many different kinds of environments.

San Francisco Bay Area
Job Posting: Assistant Organizer (Part-Time, On-Site, Some Remote)
Compensation: $35/hour, with possible increase after apprenticeship and based on experience
Schedule: Variable hours, Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM (hours may be inconsistent and unpredictable)
About the Role:
Calm Spaces is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Assistant Organizer to support in-home organizing projects. This part-time, on-site role involves working directly with clients to sort, declutter, and install organizing systems. Over time, the right candidate will grow into leading organizing projects independently.
Responsibilities:
Assist with decluttering, sorting, and setting up organizing systems
Label and categorize items for optimal storage
Guide clients through the organizing process with patience and professionalism
Source and shop for organizing products as needed
Haul donations and coordinate with service providers
Support move management projects
Provide clear and concise reports and updates
Qualifications Required:
✔ Experience in a related field (e.g., project management, retail/stockroom management, customer service, or another client-facing helping profession)
✔ Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area
✔ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work without supervision
✔ Comfortable working in homes with pets and in garages, attics, basements, and storage spaces
✔ Physically able to lift and carry heavy items
Preferred Qualifications:
✔ Experience working with ADHD or neurodivergent people
✔ Familiarity with Canva, QuickBooks, Calendly, Docusign, and online collaboration tools
✔ Ability to do limited administrative work remotely

Remote Assistant
Job Posting: Remote Assistant (Part-Time, Remote)
Compensation: $35/hour starting. Increases may be available after apprenticeship and based on experience.
Schedule: Flexible and variable hours (hours may be inconsistent and unpredictable).
About the Role:
Calm Spaces is seeking a Remote Assistant to help with a variety of tasks that support our professional organizing business. This part-time position will involve customer service, writing, researching, and small business administration tasks.
Responsibilities:
Handle client inquiries via email, phone, and chat with professionalism and empathy
Manage appointments through Calendly or similar scheduling software
Create and send invoices to clients using QuickBooks
Draft and organize client communications, training documents, templates, and client files and notes
Speak with clients over the phone, addressing any questions, concerns, or needs they may have regarding our services
Assist with personal assistant tasks, such as online shopping, managing supplies for organizing sessions, and other ad-hoc duties
Help resolve client issues diplomatically, maintaining professionalism and trustworthiness
Essential Qualifications:
✔ Excellent writing skills.
✔ A background in customer service and oral communication skills.
✔ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work without supervision.
✔ Proficient in learning and using software. A high level of technical literacy is essential.
✔ Scheduling flexibility to accommodate clients in both Eastern and Pacific time zones.
✔ Access to reliable phone, internet, and computer.
✔ Experience with booking, managing appointments, and handling personal assistant tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
✔ Experience handling confidential or sensitive client information in a legal, medical, finance, or other fiduciary industry.
✔ Familiarity with Canva, QuickBooks, Calendly, Docusign, and online collaboration tools
✔ Ability to do limited administrative work remotely
✔ Desire to teach clients digital organizing techniques or troubleshoot basic computer or smartphone issues for clients
